Do I need to vacuum before my carpet technician arrives?

Not typically.  Pre-vacuuming is a part of the Sky Rise Cleaning service.  We only ask if there is excessive amounts of debris or pet hair. 

Does Sky Rise Cleaning use harsh chemicals?

No. We only use only natural products that are Platinum-Rated by the IICRC. 

Do I have to have access to parking?

Yes.  Access to parking garages typically work best.  Regardless we try to assess the parking situation with direct entry to an elevator or ramp accessability.

Do you move the furniture to clean all of the carpet?

We do move couches, chairs, small desks, and tables.  However, we do not move large, fragile, or breakable items such as beds, dressers, electronic items, plants, etc.

How long do the carpets take to dry after a cleaning?

Wall to wall synthetic fibers typically dry within 4-8 hours after a steam clean.  Fibers like wool do have extended dry times because they hold up to 40% of their own weight in water.  Commercial fibers like olefin, polyester, and polypropylene dry within 1-2 hours.  Upholstery and tile dry within an hours time.
